Rob Waeldner
Rob Waeldner is principal at Waeldner Law, a firm specializing in negotiating contracts for tech companies throughout Massachusetts and Maine. Launched in 2004, Waeldner Law assists clients in completing transactions effectively and efficiently, while protecting their interests and freeing up valuable resources for other important matters.
Rob has served as in-house counsel to two publicly traded companies: Concord Communications in Marlborough, MA, and at IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., a provider of veterinary products and services in Westbrook, ME. Rob’s experience working in-house enables him to understand the unique requirements, pressures and urgencies of technology-based companies.
Prior to working in-house, Rob gained experience at two large Boston law firms: Goodwin Procter and Wilmer Hale (then known as Hale and Dorr). In 2015, Rob was certified as an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). Currently, Rob serves as Chair of the IT Technology Review Board of the Maine Technology Institute.
Rob graduated from the Boston University School of Law, cum laude, and from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Rob resides in Yarmouth, ME with his wife Brigid, has three kids, and enjoys skiing, riding his Peloton® bike, and checking out New England’s diverse craft breweries.
